Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP), is going to organize a day-long International Conference on Advances in Urban and Regional Planning (ICURP) in 21st October 2021
OBJECTIVE
ICURP-2021 will provide an excellent forum for sharing knowledge and discussions on wide variety fields of Urban and Regional Planning.
SESSION
The conference will consist of four sessions.
BRING TOGETHER
This conference is to bring together the leading academic scientists, researchers, scholars, and decision-makers in various fields of Urban and Regional Planning around the world .
OPPORTUNITY
Young participants and students will have a unique chance to be acquainted with new and advanced Urban and Regional Planning topics that will help them advance their careers, their respective organizations, and the overall Planning community.

SESSION 01
Urban Planning and Management

Planning and managing the development of contemporary cities is one of the major societal challenges all over the world today. The global spread of technology and economic activity continues to impact upon towns, cities and urban mega-regions.
SESSION 02
Transport

Urban transportation systems include mass transit systems (i.e., subways, light rail, and buses) as well as streets and roads.
SESSION 03
Housing

Housing, or more generally living spaces, refers to the construction and assigned usage of houses or buildings collectively, for the purpose of sheltering people — the planning or provision delivered by an authority, with related meanings.
SESSION 04
Risk Sensitive Planning

The integration of disaster risk concerns in land use planning practices at the local level by improving the understanding of urban disaster vulnerability and corresponding land use planning and management processes.
